Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School

PVPA, or Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, is a public charter school for the performing arts located in South Hadley, MA. PVPA was founded in 1996 as part of the Massachusetts Educational Reform. Originally located in Hadley, MA, PVPA moved to South Hadley for its tenth year in 2005. The school currently has students from over 60 towns in Western Massachusetts. The school day lasts from 8:30am to 4:15pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 3:00pm on Fridays. The school uses a non-traditional grading system and students choose one of four majors which are theatre, music, dance, or visual arts.
