Pioneer Trail is one of the eight junior high schools in Olathe, Kansas. The school opened in the August of 1986 and serves a diverse population. Their graduates go to Olathe East High School along with California Trail Junior High and Frontier Trail Junior High graduates. Pioneer Trail has it's seventh grade students divided into three teams black, red, and siver.

Their mascot is the panther and colors are black and red. Their school principal is Kim Gillispie.
