[edit] Linux Problems

It is well documented that some Pinnacle Systems products will not work with GNU/Linux. Most notibly the DVC90 and DVC80s. This may be (but is not confirmed) due to the fact that Pinnacle is very propriatary and their products including the DVC series usually only work with their software. This introduces a requirement for a user to purchase the "plus" version of their software inorder to burn DVDs, which may be a controversial business technique.
