Pink is an album by Japanese sludge/doom band Boris, released in 2005 on the Diwphalanx label in their homeland and subsequently on Southern Lord Records the following year worldwide (see 2005 in music, 2006 in music).
The album received generally very favourable reviews and was acclaimed for its more accessible and melodic direction than the band's prior work.
The cover art for the Southern Lord release features pictures by the poet and artist William Blake depicting Satan from his illustrations to John Milton's Paradise Lost. Interestingly, the album also comes with three paintings of bizarre devillish imagery on sheets of what resembles perforated 'blotter paper', usually synonymous with L.S.D.. Also, the misspelling of 'abandoned' to 'abondoned' on the album sleeve and online MP3 tagging seems to be accepted as intended, though the spelling is corrected on the Southern Lord vinyl issue.
