Talk:Pilot Butte

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] False info on article page

The article originally had the line It is one of only two extinct volcanoes located within the boundaries of a city. This is absolute rubbish. There are several cities here in New Zealand with extinct volcanoes within city boundaries, quite a number in Japan, many in Indonesia... even two in Scotland. Did it mean to say one of only two within Oregon, perhaps? Grutness...wha? 11:20, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

No idea, I cleaned up the article based on what was there. Rob Church Talk | Desk 17:02, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
It's still wrong, because just within Portland are Mt. Tabor, Powell Butte, and Rocky Butte, all of which are extinct volcanoes. Lnthomp 19:51, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Changed the way the sentence is phrased, and included the other Portland volcanoes. Lnthomp 19:47, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
