A pile is a type of foundation. Pile can also refer to a number of different things:
- Piles, a medical problem
- Carpet pile, a measure of the fibre length in carpets
- Country pile, a stately home or large country house
- Nuclear pile, early term for a nuclear reactor, typically one constructed of graphite
- Pile (heraldry), an ordinary, a downward-pointing triangle reaching from the top of the shield to its bottom, and occupying its full width
- Voltaic pile, the first modern electric battery
