Pigeonhole messagebox

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In organisations and educational institutes, especially those in Britain, people often communicate using "pigeonholes". Documents and messages are placed in a person's pigeonhole for them to collect; they can reply by putting a response inside the sender's pigeonhole.

Cubby hole is also the name used for glove compartment
