Pierrefitte-sur-Seine is a commune in the northern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 12.4 km. (7.7 miles) from the center of Paris.

In March 2004 the French President, Jacques Chirac, announced that the National Archives of France would be relocated from the center of Paris to a new complex built in the south of the commune of Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, close to Saint-Denis – Université station on Line 13 of the Paris Métro.

Pierrefitte-sur-Seine is served by Pierrefitte – Stains station on Paris RER line D.

The south of the commune, where the National Archives of France are due to relocate by 2009, is served by Saint-Denis – Université station on Paris Metro line 13. This station lies at the border between the commune of Pierrefitte-sur-Seine and the commune of Saint-Denis, on the Saint-Denis side of the border.
