Pierre Owono Ebéde (born September 9 1980^{[citation needed]}* in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian goalkeeper currenty playing for Panathinaikos FC. Edebe came in Greece from Cameroon during the 1998 summer transfer window for Apollon Kalamarias. He stayed there until January 2002, when a former team called Chalkidona FC (in 2005 was merged with Atromitos) bought him for 46.5 thousand euros. His good performances led Greek giants Panathinaikos FC to buy him in 2005. He is known for his very good reflexes and some Panathinaikos fans believe he is better than Antonis Nikopolidis.
