Pierre Christoph Le Noir

Pierre Christoph Le Noir was Governor General of Pondicherry for two times (first times as acting governor). During his rule, Yanaon was added to French Establishments of India as third colony in 1927.He expanded the Pondicherry area and made it a large and rich town. He was even worked as Director for Compagnie perpétuelle des Indes from (08/08/1736) and (07/10/1738) to (26/02/1743).
