Pierce Reservoir is located in central Singapore, opposite of Pierce Secondary School. There are 2 parts: Upper Pierce and Lower Pierce. Pierce Reservoir is not its original name. It was renamed years ago after the engineer Pierce who designed the reservoir. The forest in Pierce Reservoir is secondary forest and it was once a rubber plantation. Monkeys may be seen loitering around regularly as people feed them which makes them very tame.
