Piedmont Technical College of South Carolina (http://www.ptc.edu) is a two-year degree granting tertiary educational institution based in Greenwood, South Carolina, and founded in 1966. It serves Abbeville County, Edgefield County, Greenwood County, Laurens County, McCormick County, Newberry County, and Saluda County. Dr. Lex Walters has served as college president since 1973.
