Piedmont, Washington

Piedmont is a small community in Clallam County, Washington. It is located on Lake Crescent in the northwestern corner of the Olympic National Park. Because of its convenient location near Port Angeles, Piedmont has become an important recreational area. Although its population is estimated to be below 1000, the community's recreational facilities are well-known. The small town boasts two churches, a landmark general store, a K-12 school, a latte stand, a historical museum, its own fire district, and several area parks and campgrounds. The community is close-knit with lots of goings ons, local sports events at the high school, and packing the lakes and beaches in the summer-time.
The area is serene, with the town nestled between the mountains and forests of the Olympic National Park and the Straights of Juan de Fuca. From many points, Vancouver Island, B.C. can be seen.
