"Pieces of a Dream" is a song from the American pop/rock music singer Anastacia, featured on her 2005 greatest hits album Pieces of a Dream. The song is a tribute to her fans and the second single released from the album. It was released on November 11, 2005 (see 2005 in music) in Europe, and a week later in the UK.

The music video for "Pieces of a Dream" was recorded on September 17 and 18. The video, which was shot in Los Angeles, California, was directed by David Lippman and Charles Mahling. It is in black and white, and starts with Anastacia just lying on the ground singing the song, with the camera zooming in from above. Also, throughout the video, scenes are shown where we see Anastacia in a black dress looking round her while singing too. While singing the second verse, a man is shown whose role in the story is not clear, asumedly the man she used to have a relationship with. At the 2½ minutes mark, when the chorus ir repeated again, Anastacia goes completely insane; she's in some sort of mental hospital/psychiatric ward. At the end, she 'wakes up' with drawings of the man lying next to her, as the camera is zooming out from above.

Though not her most succesful single, "Pieces of a Dream" performed reasonable on the European charts, charting in the top ten in Italy, The Netherlands and Belgium and within the top twenty in Germany, Greece and Switzerland.
