Pickering High School

Pickering High School is located in Ajax, Ontario within the Durham District School Board. Specifically, the school is found in what was once referred to as Pickering Village. The school has students in grades 9-12, and offers both gifted and French immersion classes.

The school is traditionally known for its excellent academics, powerful football, basketball and track & field teams, and competitive Reach for the Top squads.

Currently, Pickering High School is the Durham Regional Intermediate Reach Champion.

Pickering High's senior football team won the 2005 Metro Bowl, making them the best high school football team in Ontario.

Pickering High has also been a breeding ground for garage bands throughout Ajax & Pickering.

The Pickering High sports teams have produced many professional and Olympic athletes. The school has many former professional and former Olympic athletes as coaches, including Mr. Martini, a former CFL player, Mr. Tzogas, an Olympic wrestler, and Mr. Davis, 3-time All-American 400m runner.

The Senior Boys Basketball team is predicted to be OFSAA champions for the 2006-07 season with one of the most dominant teams in school history with one of the most exciting backcourts in the country consisting of Devoe Joseph and Jeuval Myles. The sky is the limit for this team this upcoming season...
