According to informed sources, Physchim62 looks like this first thing in the morning

Physchim62 was born at a very young age in northern Lincolnshire (UK), near to Caistor where he went to school. Sixteen and a half uneventful years later, he entered the University of Cambridge, where his roles as director of the radio station and in promoting Japanese culture left him little time to study chemistry. After three years, he was invited to continue his studies, but not his other activities, at the University of Essex in Colchester, from where he obtained his PhD in 1996.

After his doctorate, he was delighted to be offered a job, all the more so given that it was in the South of France at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Toulouse: there he spent two years learning French.

Ever in search of gainful employment, Physchim62 spent eight months at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and sixteen months at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. However, the yearning to live in a country where he spoke the language finally got the better of him, and he returned to France as a temporary lecturer, first at the University of Paris VI, then at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie d'Orsay.

Physchim62 currently lives in Arras, in the Pas-de-Calais département of northern France, and works for the Académie de Lille, occasionally teaching physics and chemistry.
