Hello and thanks for visiting my page. My name is Phoebus Panagopoulos and I'm currently studying in Electronic Computer Systems department at the Technological Educational Institute of Pireus, Greece.

[edit] My thoughts on Wikipedia

For starters I'd say that Wikipedia is an incredible project. So much Knowledge is here, it's... awe inspiring. To be a part of this feels great. But so many people have said that already, haven't they? :)

So, is anything wrong with Wikipedia or is it all perfect as they say?

Well, I find one thing to be disturbing. That is the idea of a user being a "watch-dog" for the articles against vandalism and trolling. This exceeds the idea of arguing and debating over what is real (or not) and to be included as actual information in each article. It is about struggling to keep the lights always on in a ever darkening room. And I urge all those users that leave Wikipedia to reconsider. Without them the lights will go out...
