Phoenix is Grand Funk Railroad's sixth studio album, and was released in September of 1972 by Capitol Records. It was produced by Grand Funk and marks the band's first album not produced by Terry Knight. The album features Craig Frost on organ, clavinet, harpsichord, and piano; and Doug Kershaw on Electric Fiddle.
