From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My name is Phil Salcedo, and I live in London, England.

I'm new to Wiki, and so have this incredibly dull page until I can work out how to improve it - please feel free to make it more enjoyable if you can.

My background includes a degree in law, a year looking for oil in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, a couple of years as a test driver for a UK motoring magazine and a year of yacht chartering in Queensland Australia.

I'm now a writer and editor in the centre of London.

I'm afraid I don't even know how to make this a link yet, but you can contact me at philsalcedo@hotmail.com

All the best

Phil

[edit] Welcome, Phil!

Good to see someone else who has spent at least a little time in the Southern Hemisphere, even if only Queensland. You can sign off on talk pages using three tildes (~), and add the time and date by adding a fourth. (So you could go back to your New User Log entry (maybe using the "User Contributions" link in the sidebar) and edit it to give people a quick link to your User Page. While you're at it, you can surround a few things with double square brackets if you're sure or hopeful that they are Wikipedia articles.)

Then the User Page. Not only to introduce yourself. Very handy for your own quick links and "to do" lists, because you can reach it in one click from anywhere in the English Wikipedia.
