From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi! My name is Phil. I live in Alexandria, Virginia, and work as an economist on the Occupational Outlook Handbook staff at the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, DC.
In 2004-2005, I was a Fulbright Scholar studying at the University of Cologne in Germany. Before I went to Germany, I was a student at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where I graduated with a B.A. in 2004. I also studied abroad in Munich for two semesters. Having lived in Germany almost two years, I speak fluent German. I would like to learn other languages, especially French, although I haven't gotten very far in that effort.
My friends say that I am an overwhelming source of (sometimes useless) information, which is why I decided to start contributing to Wikipedia and sharing some of it with people who might actually care.
