[edit] Death

I am unclear why information about Phil Williams' cause of death, together with the time of his death and the circumstances were removed and a more vague sentence put in its place. I have reverted for the time being and would be interested to hear the reasons for the removal of this information. Normalmouth 17:14, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

the place of his death is of no relevance to the cause of his death, a massive heart attack.

He died from a heart attack in a massage parlour. That is a factual recording of the circumstances of his death. We are not here to deify politicians, but to record facts about them for reference by others. Normalmouth 12:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

The fact is that he was pronounced dead in the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.

Article duly amended to include this. Please sign your contributions on this page so that other users are clear that a two-way conversation is taking place. tks. Normalmouth 21:03, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Amended again. Phil made an enormous contribution to the political and scientific Wales over many decades. To include the reference is totally irrelevant to his work.

You misunderstand the purposes of this article. It is not simply to summarise his work, but also his life, hence details of place of birth, political ambitions etc. It is therefore a perfectly proper, objective and factual addition to the article. Normalmouth 09:21, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
