Philippe Xavier Christian Ignace Marie Cardinal Barbarin (born October 17, 1950 in Rabat, Morocco) is the current archbishop of Lyon, France, and a Cardinal of the Catholic Church. He was one of the cardinal electors who participated in the 2005 papal conclave that selected Pope Benedict XVI.
