Phil Tomlinson is an American politician from the the US state of Oklahoma.

Appointed by Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry in 2003, Ward is the current Secretary of Transportation. Secretary Tomlinson has served under Governors Dewey F. Bartlett and David Hall. Before serving under Governor Henry, Governor Frank Keating appointed Tomlinson as the Secretary of Transportation. As the Secretary, Tomlinson is charged with providing a safe, economical, and effective transportation network for the people, commerce and communities of Oklahoma. Secretary Tomlinson also oversees the Oklahoma Transportation Authority and all Ports Authorities within the state. Secretary Ward is concurrently the Director of the Transportation Authority.
