Phil Rockefeller

Phil Rockefeller is a Washington State Senator (Democrat) for the 23rd District, which includes Bainbridge Island, Keyport, Poulsbo, Kingston, Hansville, Silverdale, and most of East Bremerton. Assistant Floor Leader.

Phil received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his law degree from Harvard. Before winning election to the legislature, he was education aide to Gov. John Spellman and Regional Commissioner of the U.S. Office of Education. Phil is the assistant majority floor leader, serves as vice chair of the Water, Energy & Environment Committee, and a member of Ways & Means and the Early Learning, K-12 & Higher Education Committee.

In a district defined by its unique geography and quality of life, he is a strong advocate for clean air and water, as well as quality jobs, schools and health care.

Phil and his wife, Anita, live on Bainbridge Island and have three daughters.
