Phil Krakouer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Phil Krakouer (born January 15, 1960) was a notable player for the North Melbourne Football Club during the 1980's. His brother, Jim Krakouer was also a player for North Melbourne at the time. Phil and Jim were both more notable for their skill as footballers than anything off-field, both frequently combining on the field with feats of grace and agility that left opposition players flat-footed, earning them the tag of the miraculous "Krakouer Brothers".

Phil played 141 games for North Melbourne and 7 for Footscray.

Phil Krakouer is the uncle of current AFL player for Richmond Andrew Krakouer.
