Phil Byrne (born April 6, 1982 in ??) is an Irish football player who plays with Kildare County FC in the Eircom League First Division. Football was in his blood - his father was also a League of Ireland player.

In 2004, Byrne was signed by then Kildare County manager Eric Hannigan from the Shelbourne youth setup. He has been a dependable fixture at the centre of the Kildare County defence for both Hannigan and current manager Ryan. Bryne has made 89 appearances for Kildare County second only to Ray Kenny who has made 100 since his arrival in 2004.

Philip was awarded the Supporters Club Player of the year in his debut season for the club in 2004. He picked up the Kildare County's Player of the Month Award in September 2006.
