Steely Phillips (voiced by Dan Castellanetta) is a character on the Nickelodeon cartoon Hey Arnold! who owns the local boarding house. He is Arnold's grandfather, Pookie/Gertrude's husband, and Miles' father. His nickname is Steely Phil. Phil is a World War II veteran who won the Battle of the Bulge more or less single-handedly by allowing German troops to capture his truck of spoiled meat. After eating, they became sick and the Allies won. He has a recurring phrase in which he usually says to Arnold, saying "Never eat raspberries.", usually followed by a growl of the stomach and rush to the bathroom. There is a monument in his honor in Washington, D.C..
