Phare d'Eckmuhl

The Phare d'Eckmuhl (Eckmuhl's lighthouse) is a 213 ft high lighthouse found in the small village of Penmarch built in 1890 by the Marquise of Blocqueville, who dedicated it to her father, the general Louis Nicolas Davout, who was the prince of Eckmühl.
It was finished and inaugurated in 1897. It is 65 meters long and has a climb of 307 steps to the light. It can be seen from 49 nautical miles and still functions.
