[edit] History
Pharaoh Djer was a pharaoh during ancient Egypt. He ordered the Smiting of Sinai towards nomads people that occupied his land because they were not paying any taxes. As result, Methos' wife who was a nomad was killed during the ambush in the desert. Methos was also killed, but revived and spent years in the desert. When he was going to be executed for stealing food, Pharaoh Djer saved his life and demanded that Methos to lived in his palace.
Pharaoh Djer had a dream that one day an immortal would come from the desert to take his place as a new Pharaoh. He taught and prepped Methos to be his heir, because immortals cannot have children. But Methos only wanted revenge for what Pharaoh Djer did to him and his wife, so he 'killed' the Pharaoh and put him into a sarcophagus, and buried him alive.
5000 years later, his tomb was discovered. When they opened the sarcophagus, Pharaoh Djer was still alive and escaped, vowed to have revenge against Methos.
