Phantasmagoria (American band)

Phantasmagoria was a band from El Paso, Texas. Its members included Pablo Hinojos-Gonzalez, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Ralph Jasso, and Julio Venegas. Cedric and Omar went on to form The Mars Volta, later joined by Paul (Pablo), with Ralph playing during Eva Gardners absence. Julio Venegas' death was the subject of The Mars Volta's first full-length release, De-Loused in the Comatorium. Phantasmagoria was in existence during its members' high school years. The band primarily did covers of Dag Nasty, Misfits, Minor Threat, and Pixies.
