[edit] Unrelated people
I think it's not useful to include people in this article who commited no criminal acts, especially a child. I suggest the removal of information about Peter Allen, Lex Peirce, Vicki Brooks (nee Pettingill), and Jason Ryan. -- Ze miguel 16:01, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- All those people you cite committed criminal acts, particularly Peter Allen who is a very well known criminal identity in Melbourne and has numerous convictions for rape, violent crimes and drugs. After being rearrested in Sydney following his escape from jail, the airline passengers were so terrified to travel with him that he and his police escorts were kicked off the plane and had to be flown back to Melbourne on a specially chartered flight. Lex has not had recent convictions but was considered an early suspect in the aftermath of Walsh Street; he'd been involved in the family "business" when they were in Stephenson Street, Richmond and he'd been incarcerated at Turana, so can't be classed as not having committed criminal acts, either. He also was best mates with Greg Pashce and introduced him to Dennis (Greg was to become Dennis' (alleged) first murder victim). He might not have been involved in as much crime as other members of the family, but he did play key roles and should be included. And Vicki and Jason should be included anyway because they remain in witness protection, hidden from their own family. Also, Jason Ryan was born in 1970, so though he was a "child," as you say, at the time of Walsh Street, he is hardly one now. The only children who haven't been involved in crime are the three Kath adopted out. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 04:04, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] How about a family tree?
How the flip are all these people related to each other? Please include these details. While I'm here, I reckon a bit more biography would help flesh out this potentially interesting article. --die Baumfabrik 06:42, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- Kath is the mother of the clan, with the remaining being mostly sons, and one grandson. I've updated the article to make it more understandable and hope to provide a much needed expansion in future. -- Longhair 08:52, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
