I played a demo of the game on Xbox 360 on a Standard Definition TV and didn't notice it being particularly dark. Perhaps the comment should include a reference to "some say..." or "some have reported..." or something. It probably varies from TV to TV, and what someone else calls dark I might not. 24.60.164.166 04:18, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

It was reported by several major news channels, including the BBC and admitted by Ubisoft. If we go for "some say...", unfortunately someone else will come along and say "Avoid weasel words", and change it back. smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 12:25, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

What's up with the 'mountain' bats? They're the same as Terapusmordax, aren't they?Jerkov 19:59, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

OK, so why are the differences so badly wrong on this page? Main Differences From The Movie seems to be written from the view point of both "the film differs from the movie in this way" and "the movie differs from the film in this way" Its badly written and needs changing. --217.65.158.124 11:34, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Creatures

I have some issues with the a few of the creatures listed here:

  • Mountain Bats/Skin-Birds- If you ask me these are the same as Terapusmordax, I don't see any differences between the two.
  • Venatosaurus impavidus- It looks nothing like the Venatosaurus impavidus described in The World of Kong; it is much smaller, has different physical features and a different color scheme. Looks more like something they made up for the game.
  • Giant crab/Cunaepraedator- The text already says it's much bigger than the Cunaepraedator described in The World of Kong, but that also means it's far more likely that it is a different creature altogether. Saying they're giant Cunaepraedator reeks of original research.

Well, the mountain bats are fatter than the Terapusmordax and have different style heads. --Indie.Bones 17:36, 23 November 2006 (UTC)Indie.Bones

I'm not editing it yet, first I'd like to hear some comments on whether or not this is correct. Jerkov 14:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

I see nothing wrong with the creatures you are having problems with since the Mountain Bats and Cunaepraedator do look like the ones from the World of Kong book. Sure there maybe some differences but that doesn't mean they are completly different creatures. However, I agree with you for the Venatosaurus impavidus, it doesn't look anything like the one in the book. So I put in another name, the Skull Island Raptor. Is that better?Johnny542 23:00, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
