Petritoli is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 170 km south of Ancona and about 90 km south of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,509 and an area of 23.8 km².^[1]

Petritoli borders the following municipalities: Carassai, Monte Giberto, Monte Vidon Combatte, Montefiore dell'Aso, Monterubbiano, Ponzano di Fermo.
