Petrie Terrace State School is a Queensland State School located in Paddington, a suburb in the Western/Central part of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Petrie Terrace State School was established in 1840. Its Current Principal is Ms Vicki Sparkes and has 230 students from years P-7 and includes a Special Education Unit.

- The Schools current motto is "Citizenship, Knowledge, Self Respect".
- The Schools and Uniform Colours are Gold/Yellow and Navy Blue.
- The School only teachers students in a multi-aging classroom environment. This include the preschool mixed with year 1 students making it a P/1 in the school, which is making it one of the most multi-aging in Queensland.
- The School is renowned to its Gifted and Talented Students.
