Peter Williams is an actor most commonly known for his role as the System Lord Apophis in the highly popular television series Stargate SG-1. Apophis was the primary nemesis in the show during the first four seasons, until the character's demise in the first episode of Season 5, Enemies.
Peter Williams has featured as a minor role in several famous films such as Catwoman (2004) and The Chronicles of Riddick (2004). He has also appeared in the TV shows The X-Files and Dead Like Me.
Williams starred in the 1995 movie, Jungleground, with three other Stargate actors (despite the fact that Jungleground was made two years prior to the Stargate television series): Torri Higginson (Elizabeth Weir), JR Bourne (Martouf), and Lexa Doig (Dr. Lam, also wife of Michael Shanks who plays Daniel Jackson).
