Peter Walton is an English football referee in the FA Premier League. He is based in Long Buckby, Northants.

- Walton has only ever shown two red cards in the Premiership; both to goalkeepers:
- on the 7th November 2004, Walton sent off Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen in the 86th minute
- on the 11th February 2006, goalkeeper Iain Turner was playing just his second game for Everton, when Walton sent him off after 9 minutes for deliberate handball
