Peter Roe (soccer)

Peter Roe (born in 1956 in Manchester) is a Canadian international soccer player from the 1970s.

Roe's family settled in Bramalea, Ontario when Peter was age 11. He played for Canadian national youth team in 1972 and as an 18 year old signed with the Toronto Metros of the NASL in 1973. He played with Toronto until 1980. Roe also played in the NASL with the Vancouver Whitecaps in 1980 and the Tampa Bay Rowdies from 1981 to the league's last season, 1984. Roe played MISL indoor soccer as well, with the Tacoma Stars, and with the Rowdies in the American Indoor Soccer Association.

Roe played over played times for Canada's youth team between 1972 and 1974. He also played for the senior national team beginning in 1974 and went on to earn 14 caps before his last matches in 1983 against Scotland.
