Peter Møller Nielsen (born March 23, 1972 in Abildgård, Frederikshavn, Denmark), is a former Danish professional football (soccer) player who, in 2005, became the most scoring player ever in the top-flight Danish Superliga championship. He scored five goals in 20 matches for the Denmark national football team, and took part in the 1998 FIFA World Cup.
Møller's career led him to play for many different clubs including AaB, FC Zürich, Brøndby IF, PSV Eindhoven, Real Oviedo and Fulham FC. He played for F.C. Copenhagen from 2001 forward, and as he had previously played for arch rivals Brøndby, he was initially scorned by the FCK fans and only called by his shirt number, "number 32". He would over time convert even his harshest critics as he always fought for the team and scored some important goals, both for club and country. After two years away from the national team, Møller was recalled by national team manager Morten Olsen in March 2005, and he scored two goals in Denmark's 3-0 win against Kazakhstan in the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification. Møller stopped playing actively at the end of 2005.
In 2005, he was elected chairman for the Danish football players' association, and following his retirement he became a sports journalist at Danmarks Radio.
