Peter Latz

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Peter Latz (1939 -- ) is a German landscape architect, born in Darmstadt. His best known project is the Duisburg-Nord Landschaftspark in Duisburg Nord, Germany.[1] The site was formerly a very large steelworks. When it became derelict there was talk of demolition to make way for a park, but Latz+Partners, the firm commissioned to design the park, decided to keep the main structures and to incorporate them into a postmodern landscape design.
