Peter J. Salzman

Peter J. Salzman was a computer hacker in the early 1980s, being the first hacker caught during Operation Sundevil.
Salzman was the founder and many time president of the Linux Users Group of Davis. He finished a Ph.D. at University of California at Davis in physics, doing a dissertation on the semi-classical theory of gravitation.
He is currently doing quantitative finance for Fitch Ratings and finishing a book on debugging programs using GDB for No Starch Press.
