Peter Heering

Peter Heering is a Danish manufacturer of liqueurs.
They are most famous for Cherry Heering, a proprietary brandy based liqueur flavoured with cherries which is often referred to simply as Peter Heering in cocktail recipes. They also produce Ashanti Gold chocolate liqueur and a range of generic liqueurs. Is an important part of a Gin Cobbler.

Nowadays sometimes referred to as simply, "HEERING". Often used in baking (which evaporates some of the alcohol---baking for 3 hours removes all of the alcohol).
