Peter Burnett Academy, or Burnett Academy for short, is a middle school located in San Jose, California which is affiliated with the International Baccalaureate Organization. The school first opened in 1931.

As of 2005, the school principal is Dr. Robert Perez. Their mascot is the grizzly bear. The school is named after Peter Burnett, the first governor of California.
