Pete Zorn

Pete Zorn (b. 29 May 1950, Somerset, Pennsylvania, USA) is a renowned multi-instrumentalist who has played with some of the biggest names in roots music. He is currently most famous for providing live backing for Richard Thompson and his band, where he switches between acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, mandolin, bass saxophone, tenor saxophone, flute, tin whistle and vocals at various points during the set. Although he frequently tours with Thompson, Zorn has also played with many other singers and groups including Arizona Smoke Review, Show of Hands, the Phil Beer Band, Elaine Paige, Barbara Dixon and his band WAZ which currently features folk legend Steve Tilston.
