Pete Cooper (musician)

Pete Cooper b. 6th March 1981 (sometimes known as 'Producer Pete') is a radio presenter and producer currently working at the University of Westminster's Smoke Radio in London.

'The Request Show' broadcasts on Wednesdays at 17:00 on Smoke Radio. Pete produces and presents the show with additional production and co-presenting by Jason Ward. Other radio shows include: 'The Dan Lawrence Show' on the University of Hertfordshire's 'Crush Radio' where Pete produces for his colleague Daniel Lawrence, he also co-presents on the show. And 'The Peter Cooper Show' on Watford Hospital Radio (WHR) in Hertfordshire where he produces and presents (has now left the station).

Some of the features Pete has written or co-written for his shows include; 'Pure and Sample' where an origial track is played followed by a cover version, 'The iTunes Shuffle' where a random tune is played from the music playlist usually becoming something really obscure, 'The Feature With No Name' where Dan and Pete predict the position of tracks not yet released, and 'The Half Time Show With Brad and Chud' in which Dan Lawrence and Pete Cooper play the two characters respectively.

Some of Pete Cooper's other achievements in radio and music include interviews with BBC Radio One's 'Chappers and Dave' and also Radio One's 'Scott Mills' both Broadcast Live on Crush Radio. Pete has also performed a number of live DJ sets at 'Hutton Hall' the University of Hertfordshire's club venue.

Pete Cooper is currently studying radio production at the University of Westminster upon graduation he is hoping to work as a producer or presenter on UK radio.
