Pessac

Pessac is a commune in the département of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is the second-largest suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is adjacent to it on the southwest. Thus, it is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Pessac had a population of 56,143.
