Pesmerga is a character in Konami's role playing games Genso Suikoden and Suikoden II. Pesmerga is a mysterious Black Knight who is chasing after Yuber for undisclosed reasons.

Pesmerga is one of the last characters to be recruited in both Suikoden and Suikoden 2.

Suikoden: He can be recruited at the top of Neclord's castle when your castle reaches level 4. You must have recruited a vast number of 'Star Of Destiny's available or he will not join.

Suikoden 2: Once you have 100+ Stars of Destiny, he can be found in the Cave of The Wind, where you found the Star Dragon Sword for Viktor.

Pesmerga is an enigma, his background is a mystery. Much like Yuber, the Black Knight Pesmerga is in pursuit of, he is not considered a human. The reason for his absence since Suikoden III is unknown. It is also rumoured that, in the early stages of Suikoden II's development, Lucia was meant to be recruitable. However, due to production timelines, this idea was cut short and Pesmerga was made recruitable instead.
