Rogue is the ninth episode of the first season of the WB original series, Smallville. The episode was written by Mark Verheiden and was directed by David Carson. It originally aired on January 15, 2002.

[edit] Plot
Clark's secret identity is at stake when Sam Phelan (Cameron Dye), a bad cop, witnesses him use his superhuman powers and blackmails Clark into joining forces with him. When Clark double-crosses the cop it causes problems for him and his family. Phelan plants a body on the Kent farm, and is killed in a shootout with the police when they arrive to investigate. Meanwhile, Lex receives a proposal from Victoria Hardwick (Kelly Brook), an old British flame. Victoria wants Lex to help her father take over Luthercorp but Lex counters with a plan to take over Victoria's Father's company.
