Perth Cup

The Perth Cup is Western Australia's premier horse race and is held at Ascot Racecourse on New Year's Day each year.
At 3200m, it is run over the same distance as the Melbourne Cup and is currently sponsored by BMW and known as the BMW Perth Cup. Prize money is $400,000.
