Persib (acronym for Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung) is an Indonesian soccer team located in Bandung, West Java. This club is one of the Indonesian football clubs which well known across Indonesia. This team had achieved several prestigious awards since their involvement in Perserikatan until Liga Indonesia nowadays.

Persib was founded on 14 March 1933, with name BIVB (Bandoeng Inlandsche Voetball Bond). BIVB was one of the club which also set up Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) with its representative, Syamsoedin, at Societeit Hadiprojo, Yogyakarta, Saturday 19 April 1930.

One of crucial event from this team is when they win the last competition of Perserikatan which happened at 1993/1994. In final game, this team with squad members like Sutiono Lamso and Robby Darwis beat PSM Ujung Pandang. Afterwards, Galatama and Perserikatan teams had been merged into Liga Indonesia (LI) and again, for the first time of Liga Indonesia final league in 1994/1995 season, this team had win the competition when they beat Petrokimia Putra Gresik.

Persib Bandung has a large fanatic crowds skid across from West Java to Banten. They called themselves as "bobotoh". During Liga Indonesia, "bobotoh" organised themselves into several fans clubs. Bomber (acronym for Bobotoh Maung Bandung Bersatu) is the second largest fans club after Viking.
