Peraia

Peraia (Greek: Περαία, Latin: Peræa), also written as Perea, has the meaning of territory on the mainland in front of an island and constituting part of its state, and may refer to any of several places, including:
- in Greece
- Peraia, Pella, a village in the Pella prefecture
- Peraia, Thessaloniki, a suburban city in the southcentral part of the Thessaloniki Prefecture
- in the Middle East
- Perea (Holy Land), a region of Ancient Israel east of the Jordan river
- in Asia Minor
- Peræa Rhodiorum, later Kaunos or Caunus, an ancient city of Caria, now located near Dalyan, Muğla Province, Turkey
